Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Lens (B070) (Fuji X)

Versatile 17-70mm Zoom Range

The Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Lens is a versatile standard zoom designed for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. Its 17-70mm focal-length range covers everything from wide-angle compositions to short telephoto perspectives, making it suitable for landscapes, travel, street photography, portraits, events, and everyday shooting.

Constant f/2.8 Maximum Aperture

The lens features a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture throughout the entire zoom range. This provides consistent exposure while zooming and offers strong low-light performance. The wide aperture also allows photographers to achieve attractive background separation for portraits and creative compositions.

Vibration Compensation for Steadier Shooting

Tamron’s VC (Vibration Compensation) system helps minimize the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld. This is particularly useful in low-light environments and when using slower shutter speeds, helping produce sharper and more stable images.

RXD Autofocus System

The RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) autofocus system provides fast, smooth, and quiet focusing performance. Its quiet operation is especially beneficial for video recording, while its responsive focusing makes it well suited to everyday photography and moving subjects.

Designed for Fujifilm X-Mount

This version of the Tamron 17-70mm lens is designed for Fujifilm X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. The combination of its flexible focal range and APS-C format makes it a practical all-purpose lens for Fujifilm X-series photographers who want to cover multiple shooting situations with one lens.

Excellent for Photography and Video

The combination of a constant f/2.8 aperture, VC stabilization, and quiet RXD autofocus makes the lens suitable for both photography and video. It can handle wide environmental compositions, everyday scenes, portraits, and closer framing without requiring frequent lens changes.

Ideal Everyday and Travel Lens

With its useful 17-70mm range, the lens provides the flexibility needed for travel, family photography, street scenes, portraits, events, and general-purpose shooting. Its versatile range allows photographers to move from wider views to tighter compositions quickly and conveniently.
