The Nikon D780 is a powerful full-frame DSLR camera that bridges the gap between traditional DSLR functionality and modern mirrorless performance. Featuring a 24.5MP BSI full-frame CMOS sensor and the high-speed EXPEED 6 image processor, the D780 delivers excellent image quality, broad dynamic range, and outstanding low-light performance with a wide ISO range up to ISO 51,200 (expandable to 204,800).

What’s unique about the D780 is that it combines the rugged reliability of a DSLR with technology carried over from Nikon’s mirrorless line — such as on-sensor phase-detection AF, highly responsive live view shooting, silent photography, and 4K UHD video recording without crop. In optical viewfinder mode, you get Nikon’s proven 51-point phase detection AF system, while Live View mode offers a 273-point Hybrid AF system, similar to what’s found in the Nikon Z6.
